Trace Open Tournament - August 29th & 30th

2009 Trace-Open Tournament - Aug. 29th & 30th!

The Trace-Open is both a SNDG and a PDGA B-tier Tournament for the Advanced and Pro divisions.
1 round on the regular course, and 2 rounds on the Trace Gold's Par 68 Course.
This tournament held at the beautiful Trace State Park, in Belden, MS (just outside of Tupelo).

This tournament will be restricted to just 3 divisions:
Open: $90
Pro Women: $90
Advanced: $50

**PDGA members get $10 off their entry fee.
**The field will be capped at 90 players.

Registration:
Friday, August 28th: 6 pm - 9 pm
Saturday, August 29th: 7:30 am - 9 am (or until the tournament fills)

Saturday, August 29th:
Players Meeting will be at 9:30 am
1st round tee off with be all at 10 am
2nd round tee off will be 1 hour after the last card is turned in

Sunday, August 30th:
Tee Times
(all players will start at the 1st Tee, with player name announcements)
(just like regular golf, and the best scorecard tee's off last ....)

We are working hard to make this a huge event, showcasing one of Mississippi's best courses.
It will be a PDGA B-tier with A-tier money.

There is a garaunteed Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) added cash to the Pro Payouts!

We are selling raffle tickets for a chance to win $1,000 - each ticket costs $10 - see James Shook or Clayton Nash for purchasing, to benefit the Trace Open. The probabilities of winning this raffle are close to 1 in 200. Come to some of the TDGA mini's, or buy at the tournament and get your raffle ticket soon!

We are selling hole sponsors for $50. For $100, we will also give you a hole sponsorship + your name/logo listed on our tournament website. If you are interested in sponsoring $200 or more, please contact us through our website, or email him at bazkitcase5@hotmail.com

The Baskets are currently in the "Gold Course's" Par 68 position.

Tournament Schedule

Tentative

Thursday, August 27th 2009

Gold course practice rounds
Out of bounds flags will be installed in the morning.
6pm-8pm registration and check-in. At the pavilion by hole 1.

Friday, August 28th 2009

The baskets will be in the Trace Gold position until 4pm.
The basket will begin to be moved to the Old Warrior Run course at 4pm!
5pm: $5 Random Draw Doubles on the Old Warrior Run Course.
6pm-9pm: Check in and registration.

Saturday, August 29th 2009

7am-9am: Check in and registration.
10am: Round 1: Old Warrior Run
Lunch sold on site.
Round 2: Trace Gold (Round 2 begins an hour after the last card has been turned in.)
7pm-close: Lazy Magnolia Players Party

Sunday, August 30th 2009

Third Round Tee-Times starting at 8am: Trace Gold
(The tee times will be posted on www.traceopen.com and at the players party.)
Thirty minutes after the last card finishes: Awards
